What happens when a small planet is within an asteroid belt. Eventually, the planet will gain mass (size) due to the collisions, and mostly clear its orbit. In reality, a planet would not be entirely in free-fall, the asteroids would collide too, and all the objects would be affected by gravity. But I suppose anyone who remixes this can figure that out ;-)
