The name is just the merging of the latin words for demon (daemonium) and bird (avis). That means its name literally means Demon Bird, which was my idea when I made it. Daevises are always colorful and fluffy. If one is not colorful / fluffy, that means it has lost its reason to exist. They exist only to bring joy to others, eat bad dreams, and be cute and floofy! They are the size of a tennis ball.
