This was the first chapter I wrote and I had a lot of fun with it Chapter Two: No warnings just fun Wilbur/Tommy banter Chapter Three: Mention of a horror game but literally no descriptions it basically just says "and Tommy played a horror game" that's really it pfft Chapter Four: Nightmares, drowning ((NOT GRAPHIC)) this was so fun to write I love writing dreams Chapter Five: aaaaahhh cute fun banter also Tommy asks his friends about drowning but again nothing graphic just a sentence Chapter Six: Yelling/making someone cry. Had a lot of fun writing this one too Chapter Seven: No warnings it's just pizza Chapter Eight: No warnings lol Chapter Nine: Breaking into abandoned building? Breaking the fourth wall? Moldy chips? Dude idk- Chapter Ten: Insults/kicking as a form of rage outlet/anger issues. Also more breaking into building and more moldy food xD Idk why i'm putting 'moldy food' as a tw but yeahhh Chapter Eleven: Mentions of sadness and not being able to tell what's real - not to the levels of derealization but yeah Chapter Twelve: Discussions of death and things not being real. Loved writing this one it was epic and I finally got to clear up the whole story :D Literally cried during this aaaah; most heavy chapter yet, be safe, I love you <3 \ \ \ Clearing Up The Whole Storyline \ \ \ WARNING: DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE WHOLE STORY. THIS LITERALLY SPOILS THE ENTIRE FIC, EVEN BY THE FIRST SENTENCE. PLEASE DON'T SCROLL DOWN IT'S DETAILED SPOILERS :0 So as you can guess, in March, two months before this story's first chapter starts, Tommy, Wilbur, Techno, and Tubbo were in a car crash. This crash takes place in a thunderstorm, and Tommy accidentally drives the car off a bridge and into the water because the road is wet and there's lightning and there is literally no visibility - yeah you get the gist. Tommy barely survived this, but people nearby did end up rescuing him. Techno, Wilbur, and Tubbo sadly died in this ;w; I KNOW, I'M SORRY- After this happened, Tommy isolated himself from everyone and everything. He refused to talk to his friends at all, and basically buried himself in a hole of self-blame and regret. Tommy practically put himself through a lot of mental torture. This led to his brain simply refusing to accept the fact that his friends are gone, especially since it was so sudden. So his subconcious created a fake version of Techno, Wilbur, and Tubbo, and Tommy began to believe that they were real. Soon enough, he was sure of this fact. He refused to accept the fact that his friends were gone, instead relying completely on these imaginary versions of them. Tommy got back into streaming and his normal life. Everyone left him alone, thinking he still needed to grieve. Tommy couldn't even process anyone telling him he was wrong. But there was one problem to his perfect, made-up world. Ranboo. The real Ranboo had not spoken to Tommy since the crash - he was honestly scared of doing so, since everything had happened. Tommy knew that Ranboo wasn't talking to him, and that would totally mess up his false sense of perfection. So Tommy's subconcious created a fake Ranboo, too. Everything that happened in this story really did happen, but Tommy did it by himself. All the scenes where Techno, Wil, and Tubbo were there? That was just Tommy's imagination. Fake Ranboo's goal was to try and convince Tommy to move on from his regrets and accept reality, so his life could be normal again. It was kind of Tommy's own way of having the memories he had pushed to the back of his mind return. Fake Ranboo didn't really help him, though - Tommy helped himself. The road trip was definitely a cliche 'spiritual journey' of sorts, but it gave him a chance to spend some time with his friends, even if it wasn't real. It was a goodbye. Tommy returned home with acceptance. Life was different, but it would be okay. The author of this book cried hysterically and wants to go home. hehe goodbye
