Happy Black History Month, everyone! To celebrate, I wanted to share a project about Gladys Bentley, a woman I find really inspiring. Bentley was an American blues singer during the Harlem Renaissance and was famous for defying gender norms and femininity. To this day, she is a significant and inspiring figure to the LGBTQ+ community. Full screen recommended. Click the "info" button (the "i" in the lower right corner) to learn more about Gladys. Click through the various slides or use the "x" buttons to exit. As always, feel free to remix! You could add on to information about Gladys, add your own artwork of her, or share someone who inspires you. I would love to see what you might create ^.^ I hope you enjoy the artwork and learn a bit more about this amazing woman while listening to her music <3 *boop* =^..^=
