THEY ARE BECOMING A PROBLEM. } /lh {}{}{} Events in the third part: - Crossdraft dies. On the same day, his 'twin' sister Daybreak has her first child with Kuro - a son named Zijan. - Iltani is now the sole leader of the tribe. She has her first daughter with Henrik - Rose, who has nimble fingers and bearyena claw and so therefore is simply the best. - I realize Henrik and Iltani *are* actually distantly related, but it's a little too late now. - Daybreak dies, and her last kit is born - Mire, who's got that long anteater snoot and is really just kind of adorable. - Without his mate, Kuro returns to the life of a wanderer. - Gyrfalcon is allowed to help lead when Iltani is on the nest. - Rose and Zijan set off to go find a tree like the one that Sunshine sat under. - Shell rushes across the water and finds a tiny island with her very own tree on it! - Being able to collect insects, Mire adventures toward the swamp. Along the way she meets a handsome loner named Root-eater. - Zijan and Rose become mates. I think they might be related, but oh well. - Koi, the last child of Sunshine, curls up in a bed of flowers on his last day of life. - Gyrfalcon sacrifices herself defending Iltani from a rogue male. She is now expecting a rogue child. - Gyrfalcon gives birth to Tamila, who looks like a pale-furred version of Shell and so is immediately set to go join her at Islandtree. - The rogue male flirts with Iltani's daughter Starling (and also gets her sick) so the whole tribe chases him into the claws of Henrik the Destroyer, who destroys him. - Gyrfalcon once again endures tragedy while defending Iltani from a rogue male. Iltani is furious that she cannot fight. And then the rogue gets to Iltani anyway. - Iltani spends her very last day of life on the nest with a rogue's child, near her mate who'd been coming back so they could have their last kit together. - Sandpiper kills a bearyena and immediately becomes the tribe's new Bor. - The new leader has yet to be decided, but it's probably going to be Gyrfalcon or Rose. {}{}{} That's Henrik and Ilita in the art there.
