Thalia POV stumbling towards Jason's party, I (multiple times) tripped over my own feet. Something was... DIfferent. It was daytime but I could see the stars. And not like at night, tiny specks of glitter. Every star had a name, it had life, it had /meaning/. I let out a breathless, yet joyous laugh. We weren't alone in this world. So small problems... And before I knew what was happening, well, my brother approached me. "J-Jason..." I reached for his hand. Something was off, but I paid no attention. I saw my brother, but I also saw the trees behind him. The party behind him. Annabeth stared with a worried expression. I gripped his hand in mine, staring into those blue eyes that he shared with me. He stared right back, looking more concerned than happy. He cupped my cheek with his hand. "Thals? You can- you can see me?" "Well of course I see you, you're right there," I said dazedly. "SOmething's wrong with your eyes-" "No, we share eyes, remember Jase? I have yours and you have mine." I giggle. Jason looked scared. I didn't want him to be scared. "No, thals, your eyes, they're black. With... with stars." Annabeth Laughing, the daughter of Athena slapped her hand on the table. Percy put on his angry baby seal face. "What? I am." More laughing. "You- you are /not/ more powerful than Zeus." "Yeah I could take that /cloud/ down any day! I did it to the fricking god of war!" Yep, there was that thunder she'd been waiting for. Percy winced, just causing her to laugh more. Then she heard a familiar voice. "J-Jason?" I glanced over my shoulder to see a familiar huntress with spiky black hair coming towards the party. But something was... off. I stood up to watch but didn't walk any farther. I didn't hear exactly what she said, but she reached for something that wasn't there, before tilting her head to one side and giggling. Thalia /never/ giggles. And before Annabeth could so much as ask what's wrong, her oldest friend was on the ground, clutching her neck. "Thalia!?" She hurried towards the huntress, kneeling on the ground beside her. She kept gasping and muttering something about... Thanks? Talos? Tano? That's when I noticed her eyes. Dark as night with millions of specks of white and golden glitter. "B-brother-" she gasped. "L-Loki, no. NO!" she gave one last terrified gasp before the darkness cleared from her eyes, the shocking blue coming back before she fell unconscious.
