THIS IS ANCIET, JUST IGNORE IT space spawns a box left and right arrow keys steer fork truck up and down arrows lift and lower boxes boxes can be picked up and set back down onto floor or walls boxes that you run into walls or are placed precariously fall and break I wasn't going to share this until later but now I'm not sure if I want to continue to make it into a game or instead make it into more of a simulation by adding tilt action and physics to the forks and boxes. Possible Game Goal: Freight comes in slowly on two conveyor belts. The player gets points for loading it onto docks placed at multiple locations around the screen. The harder the dock, the more money earned which can be used for upgrades. Broken boxes cost the player and raise the your stress level. Too little money or too much stress and your days as a fork truck driver are over.
All by me, Locomule to do... -create dual box collision system for freight so that pallets all interact the same but freight has unique, custom dimensions -truck turn around animation (freight turns too, prevents turning freight through walls. -"New to the job? Earn your fork truck license" - tutorial mode option -completed tutorial mode gives start bonus (money?) -?add trucks that back in from edge of screen that freight comes out of? alternate loading/unloading? -first few levels have wall arrows showing lifted freight routes -upgrades include better trucks (faster, brakes, more fuel efficient?, ability to place adjacent (z-depth) boxes instead of all boxes pushing (but some still randomly push?) -all docks are reachable at first but eventually, more and more become unreachable without the upgrade: Drone Forks -starts with one conveyor, more added later
