Description

Created by @gregatku for ... well gregatku mainly. All photography, taken by me, with my Samsung Galaxy S10. And no, with the Lightshow part of the journey, I did not have a series of incredibly fortunately timed shots? They were extracted from a whole series of Videos I took (mostly) from the passenger seat of my daughter's car. The videos ranged from 50 seconds to almost 5 minutes. I then created cropped versions of those that had something worthwhile in them (plenty didn't), that ranged from 2 to 8 seconds. Then I exported selected frames from those to get the images that made up the Light Show. This was all done on my Phone using Google Photos. The Time shown in the bottom right corner of each image is precise - 100ths of a second in the Lightshow. Thanks again to the S10 making this easy, because it saves photos & videos with a name bearing the date and time of each photograph/video. Furthermore exported frames have the offset from the beginning of the video appended to the filename, to 1000ths of a second. So since I uploaded the images to this project with their original names, I was able to determine the time precisely for each image from its costume name. Special thanks to my daughter for interrupting her busy life to accompany me, but more importantly for doing most of the driving, enabling me to take lots of photos and videos.
