Annabeth "Well look whose nose is buried in a book." a familiar voice calls. Annabeth looks up with only her eyes as a familiar black-haired-green-eyes son of Poseidon leans his chin on her head. "It's a very interesting book." "About?" "Architecture." "Gee, who would have known?" Annabeth calmly closes the book, earning an excited grin from Percy, but ends up whapping him on the head with the book. "EXCUSE ME what was that for?" "Test tomorrow. You're distracting me." "Aw but how can I not be distracting, Annie?" "SShhh." "But I'm your seaweed brain." "SHHH." she hit him again. "Okay fine! fine, but your loss. I was gonna ask you to go visit Jason, but whatever." Annabeth's book shut. "It's-" "July first, yeah." "Well why didn't you say that in the first place?" she chuckled, grabbing his hand. And suddenly Annabeth was the one urging Percy to get moving. Nico Hand-in-hand with Will, I walked down towards the bottom of the hill, already seeing a few ballons and decorations, along with a short Latino boy, a Cherokee girl, and a few other friends. Percy and Annabeth walked up behind us. Percy grins. "Did you see the superman cake we got him?" Will nods excitedly. "Looks delicious. This whole event is great, man." Percy nods sadly, before heading to the bottom of the hill where Piper greets him. I look up at Will, and he squeezes my hand. Together we head towards the table with the cake, streamers, blue and purple balloons, and even some party hats. Of course, Will makes me put one on. He smiles. "Well, are you gonna say hi to the birthday boy?" I chuckle and nod, taking off the party hat and fidgeting with the gift in my hands. I walk up to a large grey stone. "Happy birthday, Jason." I place the gift on the ground next to the stone and join the party.
