[Click to zoom. Space, arrow keys, or click to advance.] Happy Chinese New Year! I had never made an art process before, but for some random reason, I decided to do this today. This is my unofficial OC, Leka. She's not really an OC, but more of a concept. I may or may not make more art of her, but honestly? It was really fun to draw her. Ok that's it. Bye! Also, I'm trying a different style. I may or may not change into this exact style, but I might be going to drawing in this style for a little. Alright that's seriously it.
Thanks to @Colorsnatch for the zooming code. All art is mine. Time taken: Around 2 hours. 1) Sketch. I usually make my sketches unnecessarily neat and detailed. I wouldn't say this is neat, but as far as I can tell, I'm the only artist I know who used to shade sketches. (Including hair. Yes.) 2) Lineart. I didn't use to do this because I made lineless art, but seriously, guys, lineart is so much easier-- 3) Flat colors. I never did this before, believe me. For example, for the face, I used to just color it in and instantly do detail. I also tried a darker skin tone for this piece. 4) Details + Shading. This is pretty self explanatory. I did cell shading this time. Or at least my version of cell shading. No blending brushes used! 5) Lineart Color. Also self explanatory. 6) Final Product! I enlarged it.
