THE LORE FROM NAMESOFPEOPLE Chad was thrown into the cage with nothing on his back but his clothes. The Darkonian guards chuckled, and glided away exclaiming, "The Lord will LOVE to see his foolish brother in his hands!" Chad stood up and looked at his surroundings. The cell was bare, except for a simple hole to be used for a latrine, and three cots hung onto a wall. The current occupant, he thought, was only him... Behind him, in the corner, something rustled. Chad quickly turned around and ingited his magic. "Sheesh, don't be alarmed. You're pretty skittish, compared to the others." "What are you in for?" "Sabotage, asassination plots, leading revolts, pretty much rebel stuff. You?" "I'm in for just being his brother." "Hah! Chad, right? Heard a lot about you, from them guards." "What's your name?" "Aelius." Aelius was, presumably, taller than Chad by at least three feet. He could actually be shorter, if not for the fact that he wore heavy armor and boots that appeared to be made out of living sunlight. He radiated heat, but happiness and good vibes too. Chad let the magical wisps around his hands reside and sat decided to sit down on a cot. "How old are you, Aelius?", Chad asked. "I'm in my younger years, 12." Aelius responded. "You don't look 12," Chad replied in confusion. "Ah-hah, sorry, 12 in Celestial years. Otherwise... hmm... About 46 in human years." "You've been around for, like, 3 times as much as me, Aelius." "Hah, funny how age works in different species. I'm guessing you're human. I'm a Helian, kind-of explains my armor." "So, what's it for?" "Helians can't survive in cold temperatures. The armor is a safeguard in case of situations where I need to venture in subzero climates. Trust me, saved my life many times." Aelius thumped his chestplate. "It's also my secondary defense, behind my Ankh Shield and Light-Bringer, both personally forged by me." "Sounds nice. I'm guessing your planet was pretty close to a star, right?" "No. we lived ON a star. I know, sounds crazy, but it feels to my kind like a warm summer day on Earth to you!" "WOW. That is crazy." "You probably miss Earth, like I do Helios. Let's get out of here." "But how? My brother specifically forged these bars resistant to pretty much anything - magic, fire, energy, strength, high temperatures-" "But just HOW high?" "What?" "You just said these bars were resistant to high temperatures. How high are they?" "They can withstand solar flares, gamma rays, and even the core of a pulsar." "How about even higher temperatures?" Aelius asked, a faint glow starting to form around his hands. "I don't like where this is going," stuttered Chad, as he watched Aelius's hands rapidly change into wreaths of flame, slowly approaching sun-level temperatures. "Don't worry, the heat is going to be concentrated onto only the bars, although things will begin to get hotter than usual." "You mean even hotter than this?" Chad looked around at the harsh volcanic landscape his brother called home. "Even hotter," Aelius replied with a devilish smile spreading on his face, "We're going to get out of here."
@NAMESOFPEOPLE for OG, it was really good and I heavily enjoyed reading/watching it. I was heavily bored so I re-made it with some tweaks.
