I have after a long amount of thinking decided the way the corruption works in this AU and the name of it. Corruption Reanimated takes place in a different storyline where bf and gf get corrupted in monster from week 2 and deathmatch has a good ending and senpai's week didn't occur. After Winter Horrorland bf (not gf) gets killed by lemon demon and before he eats him, decides to try again with corrupting people. Due to bf already being dead the corruption works as a parasite that can control organisms living or dead.
