This is one of the many things that Computer Science does to people. This is coming from a struggling CS major. NOTES I finished this entire project for three days for an assignment for Monday (less if it wasn't for me procrastinating). Of course, the assignment was to create a meme relating to what we learned in one of our modules this week, but they should realise that assignments like these will lead me to five steps too far. I enjoyed creating this project. Animation and backgrounds could have been better, but the vector models took too long, and the rigging is atrocious (use reshaping tool, mitten hands etc.). Surprisingly, I am proud of the simple background the most out of this project. I am looking forward to creating a similar CS-meme animation in the future. However, it will probably progressively get shorter or lower in quality due to tackling seven Computer Science modules this semester. We will get the practical coursework that will gradually become more complex. This project was also premiered on a selected few people and friends when it was finished (Sunday) because I felt generous. I have a "big" project in progress, but it got postponed, and right now, half the rough animation is completed, so stick along with that. Next time, I want to improve my writing because the script is all "it just appeared in my head". If there is one, I partially want to be clever on my next CS-related meme project. CREDITS The peeps for sticking with me with the premiere (I based it on who seen it visually and who I know has a Scratch account): @BoomShakaLaka808 @cuore99 @Golar @kami_no_shami @MoreThanEnuff @OrangeHairStickman @PIXGAMES @pizzaronii @RealSTICK @Savagebanana_ @soillcallhimsquishy (told me to add subtitles) @-Wafflelord- ... and more. - FontMemes - Pixlr E - SEGA (Sonic) AUDIO - Generated and mixed by me - Tacotron2 models by ShadowTB & JacobLenstar MUSIC The Rias Big Band - A Touch of Bossa Nova FUN FACT - You didn't miss anything from the premiere. I added subtitles and an updated ending (added audio). The ending message, however, had a different note. Still, I do not want the message to end up being boldly opinionated for the assignment, which is that "JAVA IS BETTER THAN C" because I coded a lot of Java; back in my day... I did C as a past module, and I still prefer Java because of how C blows my mind in a good and bad way. - This project should have been done earlier. This wasn't going to be an Eggman animation. It would be an original, but I'm holding that idea and concept later on. All I can say is that this "idea" will most likely be pitched in one of the CS-related meme projects in the future. - This was submitted to my university so late at night that my meme might not get noticed despite finishing it before the deadline. I was in the lecture today, it didn't get an honourable mention. At least the top-placing memes were great. This animation was in vain I guess. :') But hey at least you got tHE CONTENT LET'S GO #animation #computerscience #eggman #sonic
