- - - first of all we don't talk about bruno is the music because i've seen two art processes with that music ;P * stares at @siverleaf and @criminal-intent * - - - second !! please , please , i cannot stress this enough DO NOT steal / trace / reference my art :) - - - steps / commentary - first of all , get a reference to draw based from ! i used a ref of spottedleaf , by @cjkb - 1 . sketch ! i do it in red , then facial details in blue so i can tell em apart :) 2 . lineart ! black , with 'zero pressure on both ends' on 3 . hide sketch layer 4 . refined the lineart ! got rid of scrappy / sloppy lines 5 . block coloring ! used square tool to colorpick from the reference -- then covered the whole canvas 6 . use fill tool on transparent to remove pieces that are outside the lines , then set to protect alpha 7 . create a clipping layer on top - then use all the colors 8 . color lineart ! ( added ear color too cause i forgot to ) 9 . cell shading ! create a clipping layer and set to multiply , then use a normal pen brush to color 10 . use a brush i call "texture" to add more shading on another multiply layer -- gaussian blurred after 11 . used the same brush on a clipping add layer , with a yellow-y color , then lowered the opacity after blurring 12 . background ! used blur brushes and texturing brushes to create the effect 13 . added a bush in front to create perspective 14 . highlights ! created another clipping layer and set to add , then drew with a white pen 15 . added watermark ! :) please don't steal my art . - - -
