So this isn't anything special or huge, it's just something I want people to know. Please read all. :) So lately you might of noticed I've been absent from Scratch for a while. It's because I was taking a computer break for 2 weeks. Being on the computer sometimes overwhelms me and makes me cranky afterwards. And I've noticed I have been spending less time with my family and instead, turning to the computer, wasting the day away on Scratch. It's taken up most of my time and my parents told me to stop. So me and my sister took a 2 week break from computers. While we did that, I realized that being on the computer so much had taken me away from growing in my art and writing. I've also been dealing with lots of emotions lately and even beginning to struggle with depression. But thankfully, I have my family to help me. Being on the computer makes me grow hungry to jump on everyday and that became my priority. But I need to take a break. On top of that, I just want everyone to know the, IT'S OK to take a break from Scratch, even the entire internet. On Scratch, it shouldn't have to be something that makes you stressed or anxious, people also need to understand that you're human too and that you can't do everything. Now is a time for more schoolwork instead of just turning to electronics. Being on the computer too much can damage your brain, and you can't work anywhere with a fried brain! But I also just want everyone to remember, that if you do choose to take a break, don't let it control your head. That's why I get frustrated when people start asking frequent questions to other Scratchers or others on different websites about when something is coming out or if they are there or not. People should respond with: 'I can't wait to see more! or ' Great job! I love how it's going so far!' Instead of: 'When is the next one coming out?' 'Why isn't it out yet.' or 'Are you there?' repeatedly. I've joined Scratch because I wanted to learn how to code and become part of a fun community, AS A HOBBY. Not as a job. I just want ya'll to know that Scratch doesn't have to be your life. It shouldn't be. Instead it should be something that's fun and is a free time website. I understand I might of bored you to death with this, but I feel this is important. It may not get any loves or favorites, or even views. But I don't care. All I want is just to get this out of me. I will not be leaving Scratch don't worry, I just won't be as active as I am usually am. :3 May God Bless You All!
Please read above. :) Thank you for reading.
