Yours was definitely LOTR vibe. Don't even try to deny it. Mine isn't so much, because most of the female LOTR characters are nothing like this. The closest one is Eowyn, and she's indisputably on the good side. Arrow keys for drawing process. You say this character will appear in a book you're writing? Is that book likely to appear on Scratch? I want to read it now. Her name is Eldur, which is Icelandic for 'fire' (thank you, Google Translate!). I had a backstory but I got rid of it because it was really cringey. I'm not great at non-humorous storytelling and this character definitely wouldn't suit a humorous backstory. I redrew the character as a woman because I suck at male characters and the original project said gender bends were allowed (until seeing that I legit didn't even know what 'gender bending' was, and turns out it simply means drawing male characters as female, or vice versa.) The hairstyle and fact that she's female are so similar it's not funny to another entry, but I'd started this before seeing that one so I assure you it wasn't copying. The mood of this picture is pretty different anyway. I am no expert at equine anatomy, so please excuse any egregrious errors I may have made on the pegasus. Return of the 100% SVE Sketchy Style! I've missed it. I subsequently worked out how to do half-decent lineart on SVE, and I'm so annoyed I found that out AFTER finishing this entry. If I try changing it now I'll probably ruin it, but the number of unnecessary lines in this one gets on my nerves. Sorry; I can never shut up about my work, which is why I moved all this to the end. I could not find any suitable music. Ask me about the state of my computer speakers for a full explanation.
