so I've been trying to figure out how to rig things in blender for animation, not for a class just on my own time. and now this exists I got through a pretty basic... can I call it a structure? Idk, and then I figured out how to animate it which was also cool and then, of course, I went ham with the lighting and textures. And then I did some post compositing in krita -- initially I was just getting the thing in there to crop it better but then I realized "wait I could fix how inaesthetic the background looks" and spent like half an hour on that as well. because. yeah. I do worry that it kind of removes some of the solidarity between the background and the foreground but I think it worked out ok. and then i put it on here! Have an abstract random stick thing dancing :)
