WARNING: THIS PROJECT USES CLOUD VARIABLES. This project was built on the framework of the OS/NR operating system by @nate_renaud - Version OS/NR I 1.0.0.28. The framework is a component developed by TurbosCell Industries that may not be modified. This OS is a attempt to make the scene of operating systems made on Scratch big again, and making it revolutionary while doing it. This is a spiritual successor to NateOS/NOS 7.9.0, my biggest operating system on this account (probably because of the dark history behind it). Anyway, OS/NR is a series of operating systems I am making that will be revolutionary - The system will save your data (via cloud variables, making a virtual hard disk), and is easy to use, easy to learn, and easy to adapt. The system has a structure that is easy to work with and modify. The terminal application allows you to execute commands via the keyboard. It allows you to execute programs, gather system data, and more. A command list application has been developed for reference in this application. The clock application gives you the current date and time (based on the time zone.) It gives you both a analog clock and a digital clock, as well as a calendar that goes from 2020 to 2038. The file manager application gives you access to each file slot for each application, organized in the NR-Series1 File System. The quick-notes application allows you to type things down easily. The piano application allows you to play the piano digitally via music scripts in the system. The network browser is a limited internet browser that can be used to view a number of webpages. There are a few other not-as-important applications, but I was in a bit of a hurry to get this first build done, which is why some of the programs I listed are not in this build. It is not the complete original version, the first public release will say "1.0.1.[build number]". Note: The system doesn't have infinite memory, there is a number of memory slots.
This is the original copy of OS/NR I Alpha 1.0.0.28. Credit goes to me and @nate_renaud (that's myself lol) You are allowed to remix and share, as long as you do the following: 1. Change/Modify the background and branding 2. Use the first paragraph above 3. Give credit to me (tagging me, @nate_renaud) 4. Change the sounds 5. Keep the structure of the OS intact (This means not changing the size of icons or the taskbar, start menu, converting the OS to vector format, etc. Yes, you can change the colors of them, but keep the original sizes.) AND 6. Remove all branding of "TurbosCell Industries"/"Steel64 Industries" from the system. Sound credit goes to Microsoft and IBM. All components were originally made by me in Paint.NET - Update 2/2/2022: Changed BSOD to be more simple and evolutionary when Beta 1 Build 102 is released.
