She's finally here! She did lose her own eye but I cleaned up most of the blood. (click) She seems down about the eye. Ivy also seems adventurous and full of curiosity. She's a bit on edge with me, but she wasn't aggressive when I found her. She let me carefully pick her up. Maybe I'll take her outside once she trusts me more and I can make sure she won't run off into the woods. (Maybe she can play on my nephew's slide :0)
