Batch two! Part 2 of drawing all of the dsmp characters in order they joined! For this batch I drew Tubbo, Fundy, Punz, and Purpled. Really love how all of these turned out, especially the assassin siblings! More info on the designs below- Tubbo- One of the most common designs for him, honestly. You've all seen this before, it's nothing new. For Tubbo's design I really just took a lot of inspiration from other designs I've seen for him. You can't really tell in this, but his right eye is almost completely white and he can't see out of it, I like to imaging that he has white spots in his vision ever since the execution. Also: His signature burn marks! So glad I didn't draw them on the wrong side this time. If you notice, I broke off one of his horns for some asymmetry, and his right ear is a bit ripped and burnt. Fundy- Tall fox boi! Apparently he's 6'3"!? Because of the whole being really short in origins thing, I just thought that he was really tiny in general. Anyway, that's why he's taller than everyone else here. I honestly contemplated going full blown fox for his design, mainly because I wanted to draw some floofy fox cheeks, but I settled on giving him a tail instead. Who knows, maybe he has the ability to change between a feral and humanoid form? I mean, Wilbur has hinted at Sally being a sort of shapeshifter, so Fundy could potentially have similar abilities. Also yes, that is a trans pin on his jacket, thank's for noticing. Even though Fundy isn't canonically trans, I've noticed that most of the fanbase headcannons that he is because of how Wilbur explained the "When he was born we thought he was a girl, but he told us that he was a boy" thing. Also can I just say, I love drawing animal hybrid legs and paws, it's just so fun! Punz- Our favourite assassin enby! Yes, I follow the popular headcannon of Punz being Purpled's older sibling, hence why they're arguing as such in this image. Punz also has some queer pins, one being the nobinary flag and the other being the aro flag because they're Punz and they're awesome. Honestly love the fact that Punz made his character canonically nonbinary even though he himself isn't. Anywhozle, the design that I have down for them is mostly just for mobility. I figured that clothing like this would make it easier for him to move around and stab things, which'll be helpful with his mercenary job. Reguardless of Punz being Purpled's older sibling, they're probably 100% human. It's more of an honorary sibling thing, or maybe they kinda adopted Purpled when he crash landed. Who knows. I also tried to add in gold wherever it fit, seeing as they're pretty much the richest person on the server. Also, I really like the idea that they'd grow their hair out and dye it, so I tried to make the blue noticeable, but subtle. Also, it's way too fun to draw ponytails on generally masculine characters. As Eret once said, "Screw gender roles." Purpled- Everyone's favourite purple alien teen! In case you missed it, on RLT I posted a christmas "family photo" with Purpled and the beeduo. I really like the idea that Purpled is an alien/part alien, so I tried to incorporate that fact in various areas, I was honestly thinking of making his skin entirely purple, but just settled on the purple accents around his face instead. I also gave him a little alien tail similar to the one that Stel has in Star Child, and some tiny antennae. With his clothing it was mainly about what purpose it could serve to him in his line of work, I like to think that when Purpled was little he wanted to be just like his older sibling, so I modeled a lot of his clothing after Punz's adding a few tweaks here and there for personality. All in all, I actually really like how this one in general turned out. Purpled is amazing and I figured that his character design should reflect that in some way. I also gave him some teeny tiny sparkle freckles because it's cute. I also have his roots showing at the top of his head because he looks really goshdarn cool with purple hair, but I was afraid the design wouldn't be as recognizable if I went full purple for his hair. For the colouring, I originally tried eyedropping the colour right off of his minecraft skin, but I didn't really like how the deep tan/orange clashed with the purple in the rest of his colour sceme, so I dialed it back to something a bit more nuetral and lightened it up so his skin tone matches with how he looks IRL.
