HEYO!! welcome :D EDIT: 2/17 finished! Sorry for the long wait ;-; yeah, so this is a collection of a 30 day drawing challenge I’m participating in, I’ll be updating daily with the new prompts until I’m done on February 16th. I’m challenging myself within this challenge to: - Draw more detailed - No sketchy lineart - Draw landscapes/backgrounds more Yeah, as you can see, it’s pretty hard :’) Day 1 - Fern Didn’t really like this one, but it’s just a random character with ferns behind her :) Day 2 - Desert Super happy with this one! My first actual good background :DD Day 3 - Dusk Yeah so I used most of the brushes on this one for grass and clouds, but I think it looks okay Day 4 - Creek I ran out of ideas and was really lazy, so here you go :P it’s a creek?? Welp I’m bad at drawing water—if I could redo this, I’d try to focus more on the trees and water. Day 5 - Highway UMM yeah didn’t spend much time on this— Day 6 - Joshua Tree Yeah it’s really dark cause I was rushing and didn’t want to color the trees :’) Day 7 - Shade I drew my character, Cass, because I thought it might be cool :P and I shaded since the prompt was ‘shade’ Day 8 - Boulder Uh…Legit all I did was smooth :P Day 9: Twinkle Maybe my favorite so far, I drew Celeste :) Also made her have a twinkle in her eye for the prompt Day 10: Coyote Ik, ik, it’s sketchy but gimme a break, I’m in school atm Day 11: Remote I made a floating island—wow so remote xDD a bit sketchy but pls it looks so bad without it Day 12: Moon I heavily referenced a piece of artwork—just saying. I liked that cloud in the right corner :P I need more practice on water shading Day 13: Bloom A LAZY flower because I had to rush it ;-; I wanted to watch Civil War—and partly because I’m lazy :P Day 14: Cliff I used a reference, but the pose I changed slightly. If you can’t tell, the character is Bralynn on a cliff overlooking the water at dawn. It’s done traditionally because my Adobe Fresco was acting up and didn’t let me add stuff even though I deleted almost everything (I legit have only 3 files ;-;) So yeah, the rest might be traditional :’) UPDATE: somehow the files got added back?? Seriously irdk what’s going on anymore :// Day 15: Moss I drew a girl with moss on her—legit that’s all :P Again traditional because why not Day 16: Drift Used a reference obviously and drew a boat drifting away :) Day 17: Crack I drew a crack in the floor—does it look realistic?? Day 18: Dust A horse summoning dust B) speedy Day 19: Tumbleweed Very lazy since I was bored and also because I don’t want to draw detailed tumbleweed Day 20: Owl Finally got it from school! Lol it’s weird—srry Day 21: Pool It was late, I was tired, so I just sketched out a random pool :P And the Fresco problem was because of the recent software update taking up space—It’s fine now, dw Day 22: Burn Seemed very fitting for Eliza—so I drew her surrounded by flames and her iconic quote :D Day 23: Treacherous I just searched up treacherous since I had no ideas, and found some crazy kid doing this pose above a forest—I changed it a bit and did an ocean since that is obviously more scary :’) Day 24: Sunshine I drew the sun as a person bc why not haha—I think I really like this one! I’m really proud of the shading on the hair & skin. I was going to draw Pepa but I forgot what she looked like for a sec—I improved a lot on shading from day 1! Day 25: Wild Fox cause I can’t draw anything else Day 26: Dew Yay it’s a leaf Day 27: Rough Uhhh Day 28: Search Kinda lazy Day 29: Prickly Pear A messy cactus Day 30: Clay I drew a hunk of clay Woah, I improved a lot :0 So glad I did this challenge!
