Was actually release a few days after MLK day, but then I accidentally unshared it had had to share it again.
Who was Martin Luther King Jr? He was a hero. Back in the 1960s, segregation was much more common than it is today. Black people had to go through the second-class option of many normal things, like bathrooms. And black and white people were not considered equal. Martin knew that, and he led peace protests to change it. Despite racists criticizing him and being arrested 30 TIMES, King kept persevering through it all. In 1963, King gave a speech called I Have A Dream at Washington D.C. It was meant to say how blacks and whites were equal. Unfortunately, he was assassinated a mere 2 years later. His name lives on by what he has done, his holiday, and (hopefully, maybe) this Scratch Project. Thank you, Martin Luther King Jr.
