ANNEKA Anneka groaned inwardly as she suffered through yet another question about her wings. "It's probably a birth defiency. Or maybe I accidentally let some mud harden there when I was little," she sighed. "I really don't know." The little Pyroclaw took another look at Anneka's wings and flew off. "Another one?" Cavir asked, swooping down next to her. "Yep." "Eh, you'll get used to it. I did." Cavir nodded towards her ankle brace. "Cav, people just stopped asking you about it because all you did was snarl and act like a deranged lunatic." "True," Cavir agreed. "But it worked." Anneka flicked her tail. "Did Her Majesty approve of you going to school?" Cavir's horn twitched. "No. She assumes I might attack someone, probably." "Why? It's not like you're a Malclaw," Anneka asked. "Yeah, but you know the Terratribe and Pyratribe aren't on very good terms." "You were here BEFORE that feud, though." "I don't know the reason for Her Majesty's actions," Cavir snapped. She took a deep breath. "It's not-" "I've gotta go." She flew off. Anneka sighed. Cavir "had to go" a lot lately. It was a little suspicious...no, Anneka wasn't about to accuse her best friend of working for the enemy. Even so...if Cavir wasn't doing anything wrong, why did she keep disappearing?
