My offical Windows 98 Simulator which features MS-DOS 7.1. Note that the Start menu doesn't work and also the password is Windows98. Help with how to turn on Windows 98 from MS-DOS: 1) If you wish to use Windows as normal type win or for safe mode type safewin. If you typed win you will be sent straight to windows booting up. 2) If you chose safewin and wish to continue, type yes and Windows will boot. Help with applications: For Calculator: To exit the program, press X. For My Computer: Type in the drive you want to see (e.g Drive A) and to exit the program, press X. For Windows Media Player: To play music, press P. To stop music, press S. To exit the program, press X. For Internet Explorer: To exit the program, press X.
