So after you finish the demo, you may read the following. I ended the demo there because the chase sequence script was breaking constantly and super buggy, because variables dont work when sprites are hidden or something? i dont know, but regardless, i will have to experiment with new ways to have some form a chase sequence. You can see concepts inside the script, including jumpscares and the fun stuff (that doesn't work). Not even all the sound effects are added.
