Edited this project's thumbnail to a dab lol If you were stranded on an island and could only bring 5 people or 5 things, which one would you choose? What or who would those five be? Let's assume I'd be able to leave the island: Obviously, I'd bring an airplane since I could just leave whenever I wanted, but the thing is I don't know how to fly. So, I'd bring a pilot with me, but the question specifically said that I could only bring 5 people or 5 things, so I'd bring an aeronautical engineer AND a pilot, but then I'd need some supplies. Airplanes are made of metal, (specifically aluminum), so I'd bring a miner with me to get some. We'd need more things other than aluminum, but for simplicity's sake, let's just say the plane was made of aluminum only. Now that the engineer has some supplies, we can now start construction. Aeronautical engineers are chief designers of planes, so they could create a plane that have the perfect dimensions, shape, speed, etc. to let all of us escape. However, we are forgetting one crucial thing; the fuel needed for the plane to actually run. Jet fuel (aviation kerosene) is typically derived from crude oil, or petroleum, which is a fossil fuel found beneath the Earth's surface. We know who can do that! The process of converting liquid petroleum into aviation kerosene is extremely complicated so let's just say we already get jet fuel once extracted (Yes I know this is extremely lazy but I'm writing this for fun okay?) From here, we can (...safely?) board the plane and set off back to our homes. I'm no expert on aviation and I know this sounds extremely realistic but I have smooth brain so shaddup!
