╭───────────────────────────────╮ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Sootpaw's Training ╰───────────────────────────────╯ I loved the idea, and thought it would give a good guideline for roleplay. Lots of credit to @-_-Midnight-_- for the og project and ideas! This project will mainly just include what Sootpaw will learn each week, but many of the activities will be included into many other weeks and moons as well. (e.g - hunting/fishing will be learned at a certain week, but will definitely be done other weeks) !! ACTUALLY IGNORE THE ABOVE COMMENT !! Due to the fact that Soot and Dragonfly haven’t roleplayed much, many of the “learning” roleplays will be done later. OR they can AURP ───────────────────────────────── Training Rules ✒ ∘ An apprentice can not leave the camp without a mentor or adult guidance in the first 2 moons. ∘ An apprentice can not join a patrol officially until they are able to protect themselves. ───────────────────────────────── ☾ Moon #1 - 7 moons old ☽ This moon will be all about teaching, learning - the essentials, basically. Some physical training will come into play later, but fishing, hunting, battle training, etc not until the next moon. Week 1 ✒ This week is mainly focused on the simple stuff, slowly edging into warrior training. (Though Dragonflydash will want to jump straight in, Sootpaw will need time to adjust.) This week's activities include: - The first 3 days // Getting to know eachother better. Leisure activities, doing activities the other cat enjoys, etc. - Second day // Warrior code, clan traditions, and history - Third day // Quick review included, but it'll just take a few minutes - Mid-to-late-week // Dragonflydash will give Sootpaw a tour of the territory. The borders and clans beyond it, recognizing different clan scents, notable landmarks, training grounds, common hunting spots, etc. - Later in the week // Gathering moss for bedding and making nests Week 2 ✒ This week will include more physical lessons, but still mainly around camp. Throughout pretty much the whole week, the two will begin with physical training, slowly edging out of non-physical lessons. This weeks lessons include: - Learning the hunting crouch, and the differences between a land hunting crouch and a fishing one - Balance (for treading carefully on ice, battle training, hunting, etc) - Other physical activities not included here - Care for queens and elders, removing fleas with mouse bile, etc (early week) (after this, Sootpaw will be expected to regularly check on the queens and elders) - A short, single-day break (these will gradually be less and less) During these out-of-camp lessons, Dragonflydash will be pointing out some landmarks while they traverse the territory. Sootpaw's knowledge of the territory will increase by the end of the week - it won't be perfect, he will still need guidance, but it will be better. Week 3 ✒ This week will include more learning stuff, some of it teaching stuff, but most of it including some sort of physical activity, and gradually more of the physical stuff will be outside of camp. Many of the activities are building up to hunting practice. This weeks activities will include: - Balance practice on ice - Moving silently and unnoticeably through the snow - More hunting crouch and pouncing stuff - A guide to the things you can find in the territory and other clans’ territory, border and territory tests (the majority of the week) During these out-of-camp lessons, Dragonflydash will be pointing out some landmarks while they traverse the territory. Sootpaw's knowledge of the territory will increase by the end of the week - it won't be perfect, he will still need some guidance, but it will be good. Week 4 ✒ This week is basically a lot of “bad situation discussion stuff" and end-of-moon stuff. This week's activities include: - Discussing what to do during a disaster - Den building practice - Short break - 1st moon review - 1st moon assessment ☾ Moon #2 - 8 moons old ☽ This moon is mostly focused on the bare bones of the essentials of warrior training. Simple hunting will be the main focus of this moon. Week 1 ✒ Week 2 ✒ Week 3 ✒ Week 4 ✒ ☾ Moon #3 - 9 moons old ☽ Hunting practice will be prevalent, but patrolling and a bit of battle training will be the focus of this moon.
