if you've been keeping up with my comment section (i do dumb stuff there lol), you'll remember that i said curse of dreadbear bootlegs have come into my life. i also said to expect a mini rant shortly. here we are. what's funny is that all these bootlegs seem to come from the same producer. like- look at dreadbear and TELL ME that he doesn't have the same goofy look as bootleg glamrock freddy (click for reference, might do another project on those clumps of garbage). i'm just glad these don't have LED lights drilled into them. now- onto the rant. as someone who owns the grimm foxy, glitchtrap, and jack o bonnie figures, we'll start with those. i'm not sure if it's just the photo, but where did the cool transparency go? g. foxy and ja. bonnie got the whole 'glowing' effect from the clear transparent limbs and torso (i'm such a big kid saying that lmao). g. foxy's face looks shockingly similar to our boyo captain foxy here. i think it's just the eyepatch though. which is still an important detail. ja. bonnie's eyes look like a fat glob of yellow paint. other than his stanky legs, it's a decent replica, i'll admit. do i even have to explain dreadbear? he's the exact color of c. foxy's coat. forget funko's sister location plush fabric, that is just LAZY. You can tell in the DLC he's greenish, despite the lighting effects. He doesn't even look like Dreadbear. More like a Nightmare Freddy Frostbear. C. Foxy looks like G. Foxy but recolored, and with a piece of fabric glued on for a coat, same for a hat. I'm so tired of this. The only visible problem with Glitchtrap is obviously the head and lack of stitching. You can't even see the inner ear color. The body looks decent, so kudos for that. The eyebrows just look angrier than the original figure, and his whiskers got blipped out of existence (sob i'm sorry marvel is trapping me). Maybe one day I'll compare bootlegs to the actual things, seeing as I have one complete set (Pizzeria Sim), 1 SL, 3 SB, 1 AR, 3 CoD, and 4 FNaF1.
