1 2 3 4 692 Was Built In March Of 1936 By The Scratchdale Locomotive Worked In Detroit Michigen Originally Built For The Scratchdale And Mount Gobo The 692 Was The Last Engine Built Of The 65 S&MG F-91 Locomotives Numbered 627-692 In 1960 The S&MG Rapidly Dieselise And Later That Year The S&MG Merged Into The Gobo County East Lines The The F-91s Were Re-Classified As A C-98 The C-98s Along With The Other Steam Engines That Were Owned By The GCEL Worked Their Hardest Until 1972 When All Of The Steam Engines On GCEL Retired And In 1983 The GCEL Saved The 692 From The Scrappers Torch And Restored Her In 1986 The 692 Still Operates Today And Has Gone Through Many Different Looks She Will Always Run As The GCEL's Only Operating Steam Engine
