Despite how good the songs Home Town Hero and Under the Influence of Giants had, they didn't do well enough, sadly. "I'm still adjusting to this," Aaron said in an interview with UPROXX Studio in 2015. "I'm still trying to comprehend that millions of people have heard these songs I've written. It doesn't seem real at all! In fact, I often wake up and feel like someone's gonna knock on the door and say, 'Just kidding! This didn't happen!'" However, after all of that hardship, it all finally paid off through AWOLNATION. The name of the band came from Aaron's high school nickname. According to Bruno himself, he would leave without saying goodbye, because he felt it would be easier. I do not claim ownership of anything in this project!
