Move the map by either moving the mouse to the edge or using the left and right arrows. Press up to disable mouse control. Press up again to enable mouse control. You can disable mouse control and then draw on the screen by using space. Then use the color change bar to change the color of the drawing. When you start moving the screen the drawings disappear.
