Ok. This is what I think: I believe in free will, which states that we have a choice to accept God or to not accept Him. When God made Adam and Eve, God told them to not eat the fruit from one specific tree. You know, they obviously ate out of that tree and that is when we became imperfect. But, God had the tree there for a reason. Not to tempt us, but to choose Him over everything! If there was no tree and God made us to follow Him only, then we would be robots, doing what we are told. God would have been selfish, but God is love, so that’s impossible. So, God gave us a choice. He gave us free choice, to choose what we want. Now, people argue that God will send us to heaven or hell (predestination) but that’s for a later Message of The Week… but anyways, we have a choice to receive Him. Anyways, Jesus also told us: “Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭NLT. This is the last command He gave to His disciples, which means that’s pretty important! Those who don’t accept Christ, don’t follow “the narrow path” that “very few” find. If you don’t follow the narrow road (to heaven) you follow the highway to hell! So yes, there is an urgency to save people. But, if you tell them, I wouldn’t recommend like cramming it down their throats, but rather, ‘plant the seeds’ as some people call it. What that means is to tell them about God, His love, tell them about salvation and what it means to be saved, etc. When you do that, you’ve basically done your part by planting the seeds! It’s just their job if they want to accept Him or not. “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ When you plant the seeds, it’s not your job to grow the plant, it’s God’s. Because like the verse says, when you tell the about the amazing news of the Gospel, God will have it accomplish everything it needs to accomplish. I hope I make sense when I say this, because my grandma was talking to me at the same time I was typing and the tv was blasting in my ear… and I don’t type well when there’s noises, lol. But, I hope and pray this answers your question! “Lord, I pray for wolfs friends who don’t believe in You. I pray that they will see the Greatest News the world has ever known and you will change their hearts. In Jesus name, amen.” God be with you! :D
