Silkwings are any color under the sun, except black (they never mention why, apparently, because Hivewings have black scales so Slikwings don't? \../) When the hatch they don't have any wings, but tiny wing buds, when they are 6yrs old they go Through metamorphosis for 5 days, and then get there wings, four of them and they are huge and powerful. They also have Antenna on there heads, witch can sense vibrations. They also get the ability to spin silk from their wrists.
