Here’s just some art of Nightmare, just brooding in DreamTale. Not my best work, I’ll admit. I've been thinking a lot about DreamTale lately. As you know (if you've read it), Nightmare is gone. He's basically dead. But when he was corrupted, his body was essentially taken over, which means some part of him is still in there, if only his held-together corpse. But I like to imagine that his thoughts and memories still bombard this new Nightmare every now and then, and I thought it would be a good idea to draw him brooding in his old home, bathed in moonlight. It's quite symbolic, actually, seeing as Uncorrupted Nightmare's symbol was a crescent moon. Maybe it's bringing back those ancient memories from the original owner of his body. Or maybe he's just vibing. I don't know. In the words of Billie Eilish, "The rest is up to you to decide."
