The 1924 Atlantic Hurricane Season gave birth to 2 major hurricanes (3, 4, 5 on the Saffir Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale) while only 2 tropical depressions likely formed that happened in mid august at Africa, while the other one happened in mid november as it passed over the Yucatan. Hurricane Three only reached Category 3, while Ten reached an explosive Category 5 or the "Great Cuba Hurricane of 1924" which is on the thumbnail.
