Fanart for my favorite comic and the inspiration behind TL, What Lurks Beneath by ArualMeow on DA! WLB is a mature comic about a group of cats living on an island. The Family are the royalty and their relatives and friends, while The Daisies are cats who don’t follow their religion. It’s a comic about classes, cults, and sibling relationships, and I highly recommend checking it out! The character I drew here is Hake, the Queen’s brother (and a total sweetheart)

I only used a basic pen and airbrush for this drawing. You could totally use custom brushes to reduce the effort needed though! I use MediBang Paint to draw. This took about 80 minutes.
