This is a virtual Alethiometer (or rather Psémameter), inspired by His Dark Materials. Alítheia is greek for truth, and meter means measure, but because a randomizer is used here, pséma (greek for lie) is more suiting. Use Q, W and E to rotate the hands clockwise. Use A,S and D to rotate counter-clockwise. Hit space to enter your question. When the silver hand stops moving, it has answered your question. Hit space to release it. When the hand is answering your question, it will go purposely from symbol to symbol. When released, it will swing wildly without rhyme or reason. Make sure to hit space firmly but do not hold it down. Here's an example of a question: Lute + Marionette (puppet) + Globe This means : Does culture have influence on global affairs? The answer could be understood as : Culture gives people hope (hope = anchor) but influences sin (sin = apple (as in apple from Garden of Eden)). Note : This does not work. Do NOT take this seriously XD
Alítheia is greek for truth and meter means measure. In the book series His Dark Materials, an object is used to "tell the truth". It answered questions by pointing at symbols. Each of the 36 symbols had countless meanings
