Happy New Year!! I wanted to send out a little New Year's greeting for all of you here, but I'm afraid ya'll will have to settle for a typed out message...I got a new laptop, but right now I don't have the right ports and adapter cords to connect my drawing tablet to the new laptop and I'd rather not use my trackpad to draw lol I'll have a working setup again soon! Meanwhile, there is a little Auld Lang Syne cover stashed away in this project for those of you who are interested in listing to a quickly and poorly made screech session x'D If I've learned anything, it would be that my new laptop is awesome, and you shouldn't try to put together a New Year's cover on New Year's Eve. Not much time there! Enjoy!? Anyway, now that that's said and done, 2022, here we come! Honestly, It doesn't seem like it should be time to creep to the edge of 2021 and take the leap into 2022, but here we are. I'd like to take just a few moments to reflect on 2021 and in all reality I can say that 2021 may very well have been my best year yet. Looking back, I can see that lots of meaningful stuff happened this year. Of course, there were plenty, and I mean *plenty* of those down-in-the-dump lows, but there were also some huge, glorious mountaintop-high moments that made everything else so worth it. There are some pretty special people who have made their ways into my life this past year, and they've been a such a beautiful source of love, joy, and comfort, and that friendship has most definitely been an encouragement through the periods of other special people leaving my life. For me, 2021 also holds some big accomplishments for me, and I just gotta say that it's really been a smasher of a year; I've come so far! I'm now in a far better place in so many ways, and I just really have to thank God from the depths of my heart for His goodness and blessings! I'm thankful for everything throughout this year...the highs, lows, and everything in-between, and once again I just gotta say it's been a pretty great one. I know there will be plenty of rough spots in this new year, but I'm encouraged by the prospects of good things yet to come on the horizon. I pray it's been a wonderful year for all of you as well, and I pray that 2022 will be even brighter! There's a lot of beautiful things from this past year to remember, and so much for us to look forward to this new year! Hello, 2022!
