I had that song on repeat at one point when drawing Paint. (content warning for discussion of guns, gun-related injury and violence/assault) I moved Tyger's gun wound to his arm because he plays guitar, and now he can't, because I want there to be more consequences for him assaulting someone, even with the context of the attack. Can't have kids thinking they can get away with violence, can we? So that's why his arm is in a sling. Basically the bullet shattered the bones because of how close he was to the gun when it fired. So he has the arm in a sling until he can find a good solution to his problem, since it may be beyond healing. He'll probably have it amputated or something, I don't really know. Paint can whip up a good prosthetic, though. (content warning ends) So Paint has a small robotics company which they use to fund his research on DNA and mutation (the symbol at the start is the logo of the company). He got money, and did some mutation, and now her hair is shapeshifting goop. But now their body isn't healthy so they have to use robotics to augment themselves. So he has to use money for that. Her company is a huge success, and soon, Paint has a surplus of money, more than enough to sustain his body modifications. They like earning money, so he starts taking business seriously and conceives products purely for profit. She gets drunk on power, and almost becomes like the soulless billionaires that we have on Earth. Then, Tyger, Cleo and Jackson manage to pull him back from the brink, and they realise they've lost their way. They dissolve the company, giving away most of his money to research charities and going to live with Tyger and Cleo to avoid the press. I'm enjoying Koshello so much at the moment. I'm just populating it with dumb characters like Paint. I have three characters in the works for this dumb city - one's a cello-playing spaniel, one's a veterinarian wolfdog, and the other one's an alien enthusiast bull terrier. That's a lot of dogs. Especially ones with specific breeds. Paint's just a mutt, I guess. That's pretty much true for all my dog characters with no specific breed. So, er, merry Christmas, happy holidays, happy new year?
