Try the remix tree: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/622409756/remixtree Raining Bomb Survival 2 is back for the winter season, with the bomb storm being winter-spiced into a bomb blizzard! Wrapped up warm in hats, scarves & coats, you must once again scramble left & right to evade the blasts of old & new bombs and potions alike. Watch out for the brand new winter-themed bombs that can hinder your navigation with ice slicks & snow piles. Stuck in a corner? Just wrap around to the other side! There's a whole new blanket of snowy surprises to the otherwise-classic chilly challenge! For this project to work properly, little to no lag is preferable. Hover over a character to see their name above them. In case the thumbnail appears while you're watching the project, click/tap it to hide it. ==== HOW TO REMIX ==== Want to add players to this project? Follow these instructions carefully to get them in: 1. Scroll down below these instructions & read the rules! Don't proceed until you've done this! 2. Click the green "Remix" button at the top-right corner. 3. Create a duplicate of the "Player0" sprite or any other player sprite. (right-click the sprite on the spritelist, then click "duplicate") 4. Create your character! Replace every costume in the duplicated sprite EXCEPT for the Hitbox, Edge-Cheat & Detectors with your character (likely wearing a winter outfit), replace all "Voice" sound clips (at the bottom of the sounds list) with your character's voice & set their name and seconds-per-run-frame in the "Hello!" block. Further instructions are in the comments inside Player0's sprite. 5. Test your project &, if you like the result, either add more players or share it! 6. Modify the title to match the current remix number and amount of players. BONUS: You're also allowed to add characters to the thumbnail & add more music tracks. ==== RULES (don't break them) ==== Only @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop, @TheDiamondDoggy, @Aydenfox8, @s-dbayer, @Kyle3912Again, @ZYellow and @chomperthegamer can break these rules! Rules marked with a (!) can only be broken by @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop, nobody else! (!) 1. It is polite and REMIX ETIQUETTE to comment "Remixing..." in the comments before starting a remix, so people know not to accidentally split the remix tree's branches. If you don't intend to make a new remix branch, then don't remix if someone has commented "Remixing..."! (!) 2. DO NOT BREAK SCRATCH'S COMMUNITY GUIDELINES (SCG)!! That means nothing too scary, gory or vulgar & no inappropriate language! (!) 3. Don't add or remove anyone from the breaking rules list without permission! Furthermore, don't delete any of these rules or instructions & don't completely change the project title either! 4. Don't delete or destructively modify anything you didn't make, unless to fix a bug or glitch, modify anything that breaks any rules or the SCG, delete unused scripts, or (only if you're a rule-breaker) to add a new feature to the game. 5. Please don't try to make anyone more/less powerful and likelier to win/lose than others. Everybody should have equal chances of winning! 6. Don't make your characters too large, that would make it hard to see or make them too inaccurate compared to their hitbox. If they are too big, resize their costumes, NOT their sprite, so their hitbox remains the same size & Rule #5 isn't broken!. 7. I don't recommend adding any singular characters that appear to be 2 separate characters (EG: Mario & Luigi both as 1 player), unless they are stuck together with no feasible way to physically detach them. 8. Don't delete any music tracks unless they break the SCG. If you don't want to listen to a certain song or genre, use the "audio exemption" system to make sure you can't. 9. On the topic of music, please also refer to the Music comment's recommended music limit so this project doesn't reach the size limit too quickly. 10. You can add yourself to the thumbnail, but please don't delete any characters off it (unless they break Rule #5) or completely change it altogether. 11. If you are part of the "breaking rules" list, you're allowed to add a new rule if needed. Remember to add it to both the RULE RECAP comment and the project's instructions! If you break any of these rules, it may result in your remix being declared UNOFFICIAL and becoming abandoned. You don't want that, right? To make sure this doesn't happen, remember to double-check the rules on the RULE RECAP in the Thumbnail sprite just before you share the project! ==== LIST OF BOMB TYPES ==== https://justpaste.it/BURG-RBS2-LoBandDt
My first really big project of 2022 is here! Raining Bomb Survival 2 is back for the winter season, with the bomb storm being winter-spiced into a bomb blizzard! === WHAT'S NEW IN THIS VERSION? === - The grassy field that the game takes place in has now been covered in a blanket of snow, and the decreased temperature has changed the weather into wind, snow & hail. - Thanks to the chilly environment, players will be snuggling up warm in their winter outfits. - Keep an eye out for four new winter-spiced bombs & potions dropping out the bomb-cloud: the icy Frozen Bomb, whiteout Snow Bomb, sub-zero Freeze Potion and slippy-slidey Slippery Potion! - Players, boing bombs & jet bombs will now be able to wrap around the screen's horizontal edges, instead of just bouncing off or leaving the screen, so walking past the screen's left side will warp you to the right, and vice-versa. -- Why is this now the case? Well, in the original two RBSs, two trees were at the sides of the arena, and blocked players from leaving. In RBS2, these trees happened to be fir trees, and in December, they were cut down to turn into Christmas trees, meaning players could now escape the arena at the sides... until Paul added two portals to make sure that couldn't happen & people couldn't just cheat their way out. - A majority of the music tracks are now winter-themed ones, with the gameplay tracks still maintaining the perilous vibe of the dangerous situation at the same time. Advanced jingles for winning & DRAWs also gain support in the Music sprite. - Other optimizations, fixes, and change-ups to the code in certain places. Noticed the project loads a lot faster now? Get ready to have a BLAST watching Paul, Erny, Amir, Stikwig, Walburt & Ripley survive, and adding your own characters as well! Enjoy! ORIGINAL: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/530026397/ ORIGINAL'S PREQUEL: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/349214072/ Development started with a copy of RBS2 on the 30th December 2021, and concluded on the 6th January 2022, taking 7 days to make. The project was shared on the 8th January 2022, at the weekend so people have more time to remix. CREDIT TO ALL, INCLUDING: - @ZYellow, for inspiring a few of the elements in this AY-minigame, including the original concept for the Frozen Bomb and freeze potions.
