Right off the bat: NO, you do NOT have to ask to enter, anyone asking to enter will be ignored, please read all the rules, if you ask me a question that is in the rules I will just ignore you. Also DTA means Draw To Adopt. I've been wanting to make a DTA for a while now, but I just never felt like my designs were good enough. Then I sat myself down and drew four of these, and stole two of them from an old DTA I was working on a few months ago. I'm still not exactly pleased with them all but they'll do. ~Rules~ -please have your entries in by the 14th of March or they will not be counted! -You can change the design however you like (species, general colours, etc), but please keep it recognisable. - You can enter for as many characters as you like, but you can only win one, so if you do enter for multiple, don't involve them in the same story. - You will have a pretty low chance of winning if you have absoloutly no bio/backstory. I don't even need a long backstory, just a basic summary is totally fine. Or just a bio, if you're planning on using the design for something else. - I will instantly disqualify you if I see you putting down another person in any way, at all. This includes little things like 'oh dont enter for that character you wont win it' and yours is good but i dont think it'll win'. yes, i have seen both of these before, and it disgusts me. Just don't. - on that note, don't go round saying 'oooh yours is sO much better than mine i'm never gonna win'. I won't disqualify you, but you will annoy me, and probably the person you're messaging. All it does is make everyone feel uncomfy. -traditional or digital art is fine -Absoloutly NO tracing/bases are allowed, if i find out your art is not entirely your own you will be disqualified. -if i don't leave a message on your entry, it does not at all mean i haven't seen it, i'm just very bad with compliments lmao If you win one of these characters, you may do whatever you like with the art of them in THIS project and ONLY this project. It may be your character now, but that doesn't mean you have a right to the art that everyone else made. You can do whatever you want with mine though just credit me please lmao
