Hey everyone, Joshuapuffles here. Before I begin, I wanna say thank you to all of the friends who supported me and were there for me this year. I couldn't have gotten through this year on Scratch without you. To me, 2021 (and possibly earlier in 2020) started a new era for my Scratch account. Before, I was a young kid and did kinda weird stuff on Scratch... But during 2020-2021, I felt brand new, doing new stuff, and making new friends. I made my first speculative evolution series (Wild Kawahal Island Adventures), which I think was the first big series I spent a long time on in Scratch. Then, shortly after, I met Mackiedoodle1, who was my first follower in a LOOONG time, after I kinda abandoned my account for a while. Then, I met lots of new friends, like SeaDragon44 (now CosmoKitty), liammoore, cs893276, and a bunch of others. But hey, that was 2020, so let's talk about 2021, shall we? So, I'm just gonna be talking about the major highlights of my 2021 on Scratch, because I did A LOT of things on Scratch during this year. With that being said, let's get into it. The first project I ever made in 2021 was called, "Happy New Year!" It was simply a small New Year's project I made. No other significance there... My early 2021 on Scratch was mostly me trying to work on WKIA ep. 3, which unfortunately never came out. I was also involved in "The Hole Skit MAP" by SeaDragon44 (now CosmoKitty), and Liammoore's project. I can't recall what it was exactly, but I think it was related to a kind of alien planet game or something... I was also involved in "In the Alleys of Tokyo" story, where I came up with Bally, the Ring-Tailed Cat who always carried around his rubber ball toy. Then, I shared the project "Should I do an Object Show?" Basically I wanted to make an object show on Scratch because I was inspired by Object Shows like BFDI and Inanimate Insanity. I made other projects about my potential object show now and then, but the object show never happened... Sigh... After a while... I started to make Vocaloid related projects... I don't know why, but I started to grow a liking to Vocaloid, and basically made a BUNCH of Hatsune Miku projects... This made me create Miku Ball, basically an Object Show character that was a HUGE Miku fan. I also started liking Vib-Ribbon, a rhythm game that was on PlayStation. It was my liking of the game that made me meet a new friend, PowerPooka35. I remixed her "Vibri voice acting" project, and since then, I've enjoyed being in her mini RPs, and Pooka showed me new friends, like Hummingbird512, who I also like doing RPs with. I announced one time that I would be making WKIA season 2, called: Wild Kawahal Island Adventures: The Aftermath. Again, like WKIA Ep 3, it never came out (man, I do no good with big projects...). Then, came my account's 5th anniversary! I celebrated by remaking my first ever project, "puffle maker" as "puffle maker REMADE" and created a story about Joshuapuffles and his characters rescuing him. A couple of days after the 5 year anniversary, probably the biggest thing happened to me on Scratch. I asked Mackiedoodle1 and SeaDragon44 (Cosmo) if it would be cool to gather a lot of our friends in one big studio where we could talk about stuff, and share cool projects we made. They thought it was cool too. So, around May, history was made for us. The Animonsters studio was born. When it was first made, it was called, "Sea's closest friends," or something... We were all still trying to find a name for our cool studio. Lots of interesting names were considered, like The Sea Squad! Yeah... I came up with that... Would've been cool if that were the final name... But "The Animonsters" stuck out, and thus, was the final name. After The Animonsters was created, I wanted to make a "concept game" that was basically Smash Bros, but Animonster OCs. It would've been called, "The Animonsters Brawl!" To me, it was a great concept, but... Not much was made for it... Sigh again... In The Animonsters, we mostly had a good time. However, there were... A few instances of serious drama... There were users who made some Animonsters sad or upset, and that affected all of us, too. Lots of unpleasant comments were said, and in some cases, wars were started. Thinking about that stuff makes me sick... 2021 was the first time on Scratch where I got exposed to bad messages and drama myself... I tried to make things better, but... It was kinda hard to do so... Unpleasantness aside, I was also involved in lots of collabs! I think my first Collab was with Mackie back in 2020, then Sea (Cosmo) in early 2021. But later, I was involved in frequent collabs, like with BlitheSpirit2005, 100101titanic, and Hummingbird512. [Aw man, no more space here, continued in Notes and Credits]
[READ TOP FIRST, THEN CONTINUE HERE] After a long time... The Carboniferous Creatures were back! The CCRP was a studio RP that took place in the Carboniferous Era, with Tullis the Tully Monster and his friends. It died after a short time, but it couldn't be brought back for a while because of the Studio Updates. Oops! My bad! Forgot to mention Studio Updates! Long story short, almost everyone HATED the Updates on Scratch. I kinda did too, because it limited replies on a single comment... That was very odd. The updates meant that a lot of RPs my friends made had to die. In fact, The Animonsters stopped being active on the studio BECAUSE of the Updates! A lot of Animonsters used to add things to the studio's description, but now we can't because only the host can edit the description... I really miss when The Animonsters was more active... Anyways, I thought that if we did RPs in projects rather than in studio comments, it would be a lot better! So I brought back the CCRP and I had fun being with the other characters again... And then the studio died shortly... Like a lot of things I made... Sigh times three... I then created the Fakémon Laboratory, where me and some friends could make Fan-made Pokémon. My first Fakémon for the Labs was Wanmaband, a Normal/Fairy type. We had a small Halloween Contest, where we all made Ghost or Dark Type Pokémon. After the contest, the studio just died... Sigh times four... Back in November 18th... What just happened!? Basically, I remixed a project that was supporting the protection of Vaquitas, and then... The ST removed it, saying that it was "soliciting money." This wasn't just me, but a whole bunch of people who remixed the same project, like my friends... That was probably the first time I got one of my projects removed... After my long Christmas Project, we get to here. My final 2021 project. It's been a long journey for me, so I wonder what 2022 on Scratch will be. Again, thanks to everyone who has been a part of my 2021 here on Scratch. I couldn't have stayed here without you all.
