Wow, this blew up holy guacamole- Yes, I've started going to the 'serious side,' but don't worry, I will still make my normal content. 1. Aʀᴛ Issᴜᴇs Alright, this has been going on long enough, I'm not going to call out anyone, but we need this to stop. Here's what I mean: -Stealing art and claiming it as your own -Heavily referencing -Sharing Traced Art -Changing one little thing about the piece and saying just because it's different, it's yours (Like the eye color of a person or changing the color of the outline) -Coloring in transparent pictures without giving credit to the artist --Coloring in transparent pictures and claiming you drew it Yep. Sadly, a LOT of people on scratch do this. And I understand it's mostly just kids who don't know better, but even after explaining to them why they shouldn't do it, they still do. And they aren't all just kids, there are adult art thefts out there too. I once met someone who was 14 and stole art. And a 21 year old recently! Look, I understand some of you might not think your art is good, but copying someone else's will only make it worse. It will drive you further and further away from actually improving and finding your style and/or talent. 2. Hᴏᴍᴏᴘʜᴏʙɪᴀ Unfortunately, this is a ██████╗░██╗░██████╗░ ██╔══██╗██║██╔════╝░ ██████╦╝██║██║░░██╗░ ██╔══██╗██║██║░░╚██╗ ██████╦╝██║╚██████╔╝ ╚═════╝░╚═╝░╚═════╝░ issue on scratch as well. Within this month, I have met (now 12) different homophobic people. As someone who highly supports LGBTQIA+ and is in the community along with creates LGBTQIAPP+ projects on scratch, I simply hate it. I know you might say, 'It's because of my religion,' but that isn't true. Yes, you might have been raised that way, but that won't stop you from being who you are. My parents are homophobic and taught me to be against LGBTQIAPP+ as well. Am I? No. And I have several religious friends who aren't homophobic! And when I say homophobic, I do not mean people who just don't support it, I mean people who straight-up attack people, get in arguments about it with others, mock them, make fun of them, and/or call them rude things.
