*Shared 12/24/21* // Happy Kwanzaa! It's the first day of Kwanzaa today! I decided to make a project that explained this interesting week-lasting holiday. Unfortunately, I don't celebrate this holiday (I'm not African American), but it was certainly fascinating to research about it. I learned many new things myself. For example, did you know that Kwanzaa holds a feast called karamu on the last day of Kwanzaa, New Year's Eve? And that each candle represents a different principle? Explore this project to learn more about Kwanzaa! // --Want to celebrate Kwanzaa? Kwanzaa includes showing off your talents, drumming, storytelling, reading poetry, singing, performing, dancing, sending gifts, and cooking. -- Happy Kwanzaa! And while we're at it, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! Best wishes from @AKAQueenMrsTeereis :)
