ANYBODY ELSE NOTICE HOW IN THE LAST DRAWING JOY KINDA LOOKS LIKE A CHAD??- -----My Epic Art Process----- -I WAS SO HYPED TO REMAKE THIS, LIKE- 1 YEAR AGO ON CHRISTMAS EVE I SAID TO MYSELF "Ima show off my aMazInG tAlEnt for Christmas OwO" AND I HAD NO TALENT (I STILL DON'T >:D) BACK THEN- -Ok but seriously, I love knowing the fact that I improved from a year ago and that now the emotions aren't just stupid typical anime girls in a qUIrKY sITuAtioN! They actually have some meaning for existing and meaning for continuing to exist (even if it means suffering with one another) -Ok ok, for the people who actually READ these things, Ima talk about the artworks -----Artworks----- 1. Violence and Love cuddling sO UH- if you didn't know this (Which I've made it clear many times /nm) Violence and Love are significant others (Love being lesbian and Violence being bisexual) so I thought "Well I'm slowly ruining their relationship with the story I'm making so I might as well let them have wholesome moments like this." Also, if you look at the original Le Christmas Art, I put the mistletoe on the fireplace there too, you can connect the dots on what happened with Love :] 2. Anxiety giving Greed the cold shoulder LOOK GUYS GREED HAS TWO BRAIDS NOW LIKE A C H I L D - but- uh- that's not the focus here- So when I made the first Christmas Art I didn't know WHAT to make of Anxiety (frick I didn't even know if I wanted to add Greed to the story) but you can tell I made my mind with both things now. Anxiety is using her trusty clipboard to make sure everybody gets what they want for Christmas, so she's stuck tracking things from the shadows, which is how she likes things. Also, in the original artwork Violence pranked her with a jack-in-the-box so she's also using tracking as an excuse to avoid her. Greed is one of the only two people who usually talk to her but she never really got the whole "LIKING planning" thing so she's usually a dummy around her. 3. Joy simping for Misery AH YES, WE'RE REFERENCING THIS SHIP AGAIN- So- uh- if you want some context for this one you should read the Lore Talk on the Starboy Meme (Bottom of the notes and credits) But anyways- like I said with Anxiety she made sure everyone got what they wanted for Christmas, so yES she allowed this unholy ship between Joy and Misery to be endured for the sake of Joy's enjoyment. She assigned Joy and Mentha in charge of getting firewood and Misery on controlling any shenanigans that might happen with Violence being freely able to use a gas stove for cooking- I think the mini-comic speaks for itself, Joy is silently watching Misery get some water and then Misery tells her to keep working while blushing (Istg if someone comments "OmG wTh iS wROnG w/ yOu" I will- IT'S JUST A CHARACTER GET OVER YOURSELF-) ----- So yeah, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, whether you believe in Santa or not, or whether you see this part of the desc or not, I hope you have a good day today and a good New Years ( Year of the tiger, let's see how that plays out :'] )
