Will POV I must've been a liiiitle bit distracted while changing Sherman Yang's bandages. I tugged slightly too hard around his wrist and he let out a grunt. I immediately brought my focus back to the son of Ares, who grumbled some colorful words I'm not gonna repeat. "Solace, you're usually the best healer here. What the heck is wrong with you?" I looked at my hands. "Something Kayla said. it's no biggie. I'll be more careful, I swear." I promised and threw away the dirtied bandages. "What'd she say?" "Nothing important." "It's obviously important if you're gonna cut off the circulation in my hand over it." "I said it's nothing, Sherman." I said, but I doubted he heard me, seeing as I was already walking out the infirmary door. Still a little distracted, I didn't notice the short kid dressed in black until I ran into him. Nico POV I walked away from Kayla, trying my best to wrap my head around what she said. Okay, so his crush is on a boy, the boy is emo, and he's short. Sadly, I couldn't think of anyone like that besides me. I wonder who it is? That's when something connected with my face and I toppled over onto something warm. I groaned and opened my eyes to see a completely flustered and red Will Solace. "S-sorry, Nico." he said, rubbing the back of his neck. That's when I realized that I had been staring at him instead of getting up. As much as I hoped against it, I had a feeling my face had turned redder than Will's as I scrambled to my feet then helped him up. "Sorry." "No, I just told you sorry. I'm the one who ran into you." "No, I'm the one who ran into /you/." I said stubbornly. Will winked. That son of a god actually /winked/ at me. "I guess you could say we fell for each other, huh, Neeks?" I froze and just kinda stared at him. What? I'm not good at people. What is this and why did it make the skeletal butterflies in my stomach resurrect. I kept it extremely smooth and cool and said something like, "Uh-uhm- huh- what?"
I dunno what to say so just picture the most serious character from anything you read/watch jumping like a cat when they walk by the toaster and it goes off(I'm gonna think of Melinda May from AoS) more parts to come
