Will POV After the game, as we were heading towards the Apollo table, I noticed that the the Hades table was empty. Even as we were in the middle of eating, I couldn't take my eyes off the empty bench. "Hello? Helllooooo" Someone flicked me in the side of the head. A whipped my head around with a frown to see Kayla. I noticed that her reddish roots were showing through her green hair. "Earth to William. You've been staring at the Hades table for, like, fifteen minutes." When Kayla's expression turned into a wide grin a felt the urge to get up and walk away because that look seriously made me uncomfortable. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say..." Crap, I know where this is going. "I'd say that you have a crush on the Ghost king himself." Austin must've heard because he set down his sandwich and stared at me, as if waiting for an answer. I felt my face heat up, starting at my ears. "I have no idea what you're talking about." Kayla lifted an eyebrow. "That's literally the worst and least original answer you could have come up with." I crossed my arms. "I just remembered that I have to change a patients bandages." "You go do that, lover boy!" Nico POV Slept in. Late. Like, REALLY late. I was just getting to the dining pavilion when I heard the familiar voice of a certain son of Apollo. "I don't know what you're talking about." I paused for a second before sitting down at my table. I heard a female voice respond, "That's literally the worst and least original answer you could have come up with." and a scoff. Will responded, "I just remembered I have to change a patient's bandages." I looked over to see him standing up, his ears bright red and a blush tinted across his freckled face. 'You go do that lover-boy!" said the green-haired girl, Kayla, I think. Everything seemed to freeze and the scary thing was, I didn't know why. My fork paused halfway to the plate and blood roared in my ears. I forced myself to look at Will walking away, then at Kayla, who was now laughing and talking to Austin. Will has a crush? Maybe even a girlfriend. He did say he's bi so perhaps even a boyfriend. Before I even knew I was doing it, my legs were taking me towards Kayla. Crap, my impulsiveness is gonna screw everything up. Why did I even care if Will was in a relationship?
