Introducing Scratch Tips, the first-ever Scratch currency! Please make sure to read everything; new answers and rules have been added. F.A.Q. ------------------------------------------------- Q: How do I start a bank? A: Remix the project and follow the instructions inside. Then, rename the project as "(Username)'s Tip Bank". Make sure to delete these instructions too! Q: How do I use Tips? A: To use tips, go to the Manage Tips tab. Under "Withdraw Tips", you can take out tips in the form of a code. Q: So, codes... can I give tips to others? A: Yes! Simply copy the code and send it to a friend. Q: I got a code! Now, how do I get the tips? A: Simply type it on the Manage Tips page under "Deposit Tips". Q: I want to send tips to a friend, but I'm scared others will use my code! What do I do? A: By using the User Lock (the icon of a lock with a letter on it), you can make sure only the right person gets your tips! Q: I have a favorite creator, and I want to tip them. The problem is that I have no tip bank! Now what? A: The reason Tips are called "Tips" is because you can tip off people you like for completely free. Simply press "Tip Account" and choose an amount. Q: What else can tips do? A: Not much right now. Their main purpose is for company transactions like mergers and buy-outs. However, there are plans to make tip-buyable products. Q: What is the button on the text inputs? A: That is the backspace. This is used instead of the backspace key since Scratch projects cannot detect it. Q: A button is grayed out. Why? A: Number inputs only accept up to 99. Q: I transferred tips, but the bank(s) reverted! What happened?! A: The Scratch clouds servers are undergoing constant maintenance as of lately, so Banks may act finicky.
