IV after the roll out of Hoplite-IIs. A new team was assigned to upgrade Hoplite-II's weapons systems/turret while the original team works to provide a next-gen MBT. After five years of designing, prototyping, and testing, the Hoplite Mk. IV is finally out. It has exceeded all expectations in terms of performance, however its ridiculous cost is a cause for concern. It's planned that 100 Hoplite Mk IVs will be put into service before 2022 replacing some of the Hoplite-IIs, and an additional 250 will be constructed throughout 2022. Trivia: "Arkouda" is a Greek work which roughly translates to "bear". The Hoplite Mk.IV is designed based on the T-14 Armata.
