From the 2008 parade, to promote the sequel: Rodrick Rules. As for the punctured version, from the 2013 parade, going to promote Hard Luck, but the balloon was punctured and it fell onto the ground and deflated because of high winds during the balloon's appearance so it could not be broadcasted on NBC. Instead, they showed footage from the 2012 parade, and the 2011 parade in widescreen. It would've gotten punctured in 2018, but since they managed the balloon to stay up, it didn't get punctured in 2018, but it did get a little bit punctured before the parade, by getting hit by a lamppost and then for the second time in a row, deflating. They would've promoted The Meltdown. Also, they had to use footage from the 2016 and 2017 parades. While it was punctured, the announcer had to record the lines in the Macy's studio for the broadcast on NBC, which used footage from the other parades, same with 2013. They still promoted the books, Hard Luck and The Meltdown.
